From wedding ceremonies to real estate open houses, David has spent twenty-five years playing ballrooms, hotel lobbies, back yards and common rooms across New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. If the venue has a piano he is happy to play it, and if not, he can bring his own.
Wedding pianist NJ, NYC & PA · Ceremony · Cocktail hour
Ceremony through the last dance. Live piano and vocals while people are arriving and drinking, then DJ for the reception if you want the floor full later. David will learn a processional or a first dance you care about, and he handles the announcements if you would rather not hand that to someone else.
NYC cocktail hour pianist · Manhattan, Hoboken & Princeton
Music that sits under the conversation instead of on top of it. Jazz standards, Broadway, bossa nova and quiet contemporary, played at a volume people can talk over. This is the most requested booking, and usually the one that sets the tone for everything after it.
Open house pianist NJ, NY & PA · Short Hills, Westchester & Bucks County
Real estate agents book David for open houses and launch days. A pianist in the corner keeps people in the room longer, and they remember which listing it was. If the property has a grand piano, David will play it, and if not, he can bring his own.
Corporate pianist & DJ · NYC, Jersey City & Philadelphia
Galas, client dinners, award nights, and the December party. Music that suits a formal room without drowning out the people in it. December books earliest, so companies tend to hold a date well before the rest of the calendar fills.
Retirement home entertainment NJ, NY & PA · Memory care
Residents sing along to songs they have known for sixty years. David has played memory care units, assisted living homes and retirement communities across the tri-state area, and he takes $25 off his usual rate for nursing homes, senior facilities and 55+ communities.
PA, NJ & NY party pianist and DJ · Red Bank, Morristown & New Hope
Anniversaries, birthdays, engagement parties, retirements, and whatever else you are throwing. Ten people in a living room or two hundred in a hall. David scales the setup to the space rather than bringing a full rig to a dinner party.
If the room already has a piano, David is glad to play it. If it does not, he can bring a portable keyboard and a sound system sized to the venue, so nothing has to be rented.
David plays and sings, so one booking can cover instrumental background music early and live vocals later. There is no second performer to coordinate or pay for.
For weddings and parties that need a dance floor, he switches to DJ after the live set. One person, one fee, no changeover gap between two different acts.
Jazz standards, classical, Broadway, pop and holiday material. Requests are welcome, and David reads the room rather than working down a fixed list.
